Let Us Podcast, Ep. 51 – Stever By One

That’s right, nerds! We’re back with an all-new episode of Let Us Podcast! This week, we double our Stephen intake by having both frequent long distance co-host Stephen Gertz and the artist Steve Totin. We welcome our newest guest onto the show by starting a discussion about the recently announced Mighty Morphin Power Rangers reboot. Then our attention turned to another round of Stephen’s nerd trivia, this time with questions about Batman character origins. Finally, we get to take to Steve Totin about his artwork, which includes a secret comic book project with Stephen that we had never heard about before.

As always, it was great fun getting to sit down and chat with friends. Be sure to follow Steve Totin (@steverthanever) and Stephen Gertz (@Stephen_Gertz) on Twitter, and be sure to check out Steve’s artwork at his DeviantART page by visiting steverthanever.deviantart.com. Finally, to show Steve’s humor, I’ll add his drawing of @Jakestatefarm82 for good measure.

You see, once you notice the Patton Oswalt in his face, you can't unsee it.

Until next time…

  1. I’m a smidge confused. Y’all kept saying that Saban sent the show away to film the action sequences. Power Rangers was based on the Japanese show Super Sentai Warriors and he simply spliced in that footage to save money. ‘Cuz he cheap.

    • Yeah, I realized that when I said it, but the moment to fix it slipped away. I read a bunch of stuff about the way it was produced, and I felt cheated afterward. All these years I thought that David Yost was really channeling his nerd rage and kicking ass. But, no! I’ve got to reevaluate my childhood now. Haha!
